What must I do to fix slow videos on my Nokia 5310 phone?

When I put up videos (mp4 and 3gp format) on my Nokia 5310 they either slow down or play no video! Can you please help? I need them to play properly! I use the file manager and video manager on PC Suite to put the videos on my phone.
