What is the diffrence between a java phone and a symbian phoone?

Which one is the good phone a java or a symbian and what is the difference between them. What are the facilities that i get in this two system. Which one will be the best cellphone for a java as well as a symbian for a range of about 5,000/-.

Mobile phones have operating systems too. Java is one, Symbian is another. There are many more.
Difference? Nothing TOO significant.

Symbian is an operating system for Cell phones, just like JAVA.
Symbian phones are much faster, safer, feature rich as compared to JAVA ones. JAVA is used only in low-end phones.
Nokia N series id Symbian.
There are series of Symbian phones like: S40, S60 etc. latest OSes are very fast and capable of supporting high end applications.
