i wanted to know where could i get a nokia original camera lens cover and what kind is yours and how much does it cost thanks a bunch
Thanks. The quality of the CNN part is great, and one would think its an OEM part, but from what i hear, its now.
A plastic tool could be used, but due to the strong bonding of the lens, you may need to resort to something a little stronger, like I have.
As to the N86, and its camera lens cover, the two parts are of different sizes, the N86’s is a lot smaller than the N97’s slider cover sadly.

would it be a good idea to use a plastic phone opening tool (instead of a screwdriver) to remove the lens cover?

if it’s gonna be worse, i’ll get it fixed 
i got my N97 a few days ago… and i allready have a smal scratsch between the cam and flash.. so it is not fixed yet
Is this a new revised lens cover or the same which gives beautiful scratches? And doing this my self will definately void the warrenty right.
why is this only have so few reviews. its funny that there are alot people who have this problem. including me. but doesnt want to fix it themselves

This is not a revised lens cover, but the very same faulty stock, so will scratch again in time. The purpose of the video is to show how easy it is to remove, and replace. I plan on fitting an N86 camera lens cover to my N97 when stock arrives, and will carry out another video guide.
wait so is this an improved lens cover that doesn’t scratch the lens or is it just a replacement of a scratched lens?
