A “DSLR lens” says little about the quality of the lens. At most, it may say that it’s made for DSLR with crop sensor. It’s only a selling point to people who know little about DSLRs and lenses.

The lens is a Carl Zeiss – higher quality optics than the plastic lenses used in many other cell phone cameras. That helps with light reception and reduces chromatic aberration (blue ghosting around highlights) and flare. It will not turn the N86’s tiny digital sensor into something to rival a DSLR.
