Yeah, that absolutely doesn’t work. I installed as soon as I got my Storm and no more than a month later it was freezing up left and right with several problems. I talked to people at the local Verizon here and the salesman I see said that 5.0 has caused the most problems for Blackberry’s.
ditto. best thing i ever did for my storm. only downfall to it is that it erased EVERYTHING off my phone =( SAVE YOUR NUMBERS BEFORE YOU UPDATE! WRITE THEM DOWN OR SOMETHING! wish i knew then what i know now… =)

This doesn’t really speed anything up. It just overwrites potentially sensitive information (passwords, encryption keys) with zeros instead of simply ‘deleting’ them. This way bad guys can’t steal your important encrypted work keys by stealing the phone, or something like that. It actually makes the phone slower because instead of just deleting these files, it watches them and overwrites them with zeros.

It’s funny– I found this on my Storm yesterday. I was wiping my phone so I can send it back under the Worry Free Guarantee. I love the Storm but I cannot deal with the constant freezing. There were times that I had pull the battery so I can make a phone call. Im waiting for the Storm 2. Hopefully the Odin wont freeze as much.

Memory cleaning will automatically do it when it idle for more than 5 mins. storm user need to enable this function to recover memory leak.
