How do I sync Blackberry Storm and Outlook email?

My regular business email is on a server (POP3/SMTP) and I use our company’s cable Internet connection to get it. I am not getting it off an exchange server in house. When I used the Blackberry Desktop Manager to sync, option of sync email is grayed out. Any solutions?
