How do I make Samsung Delve R800 modem for my computer?

i have a samsung delve (r800) with alltel, not sure if that matters… and the data cable for the phone (usb cable). how can i use this to get on the internet via my phone, im going on a road trip and internet would be essential! please let me know how i can do this!
