How do I get rid of a loud ding on a LG CG225 cell phone?

My in-laws have the LG CG225 phone. This phone is on the older side, I think. Every time some one hangs up on them the phone makes a really loud ding in their ear. It hurts their ears every time. Is there a way they can turn this off?
