2 Major problems:

1) Every time I turn on the phone, there must be 40 to 50 JUNK emails that come in which have accumulated since the phone was off/out of coverage area…no exagg…40 to 50!

It irritated me to such an extent that I removed the (19.99) Blackberry plan from my T-Mobile account.

Now I just use it as a (so-so) overpriced phone.

2) The internet is maddeningly slow…reminds me of the early days of dial-up.

Other problems….around 3 or 4 times, I’ve gotten an “hourglass” on my screen for no reason and all functions are frozen. Removing & replacing the battery is “hit or miss” to fix it…sometimes, I just wait it out (several minutes). REALLY annoying.

Conclusion:

I’ll use my cell phone for phone calls and my home/laptop computer for email/internet.

NOT worth the hype.

I am not one to write long reviews, so excuse the brief comments. I much prefer the Palm Treo to the Pearl. The Pearl’s keyboard stinks, the camera quality is poor and there is problems with the click wheel.

I think I will return it.

Since I got from T-Mobile have problem with software and battery. It is not at all user friendly interface and I think there are better phones available than this htped for no reason phone

I WASN’T GOING TO HYPE UP THIS PHONE IF IT WAS TRASH OR IF IT WAS OK, BUT I MUST SAY I WAS REALLY SURPISE HOW GREAT THIS PHONE IS. I HAD THIS PEARL FOR A FEW DAYS NOW AND I MUST SAY I AM VERY PLEASE. THE LOOK OF THE PEARL IS GREAT! THIS PHONE HAS A LOT OPTIONS SO TAKE YOUR TIME GETTING TO KNOW YOUR PEARL. THIS IS A NEW PHONE SO TMOBILE IS LEARNING THE SAME TIME WE ARE ,SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN YOU CALL TECH DEPT. TEXTING IS SOMETHING YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GET USE TO BECAUSE OF THE METHODS THE WORDS COME ON THE SCREEN AND THE KEY PAD IS DIFFERENT THAN TYPICAL KEY PAD. I WOULD LIKE IF THE BLUETOOTH WOULD ANSWER AUTOMATIC, THAT WAS MY ONLY ISSUE WITH THE PEARL BUT IT WASN’T A REAL BIG DEAL JUST LETTING YOU ALL KNOW. THE SCROLL IS ANOTHER GREAT ADDITION TO THE PHONE. IN CLOSING THIS IS A GREAT PHONE I’M VERY HAPPY WITH IT, I DON’T HAVE TIME TO TELL YOU ALL FEATURES ON THE PHONE, SO BUY THE DAMN PHONE LOL.

neither MS Windows nor Mac based odd system, why buy this product ?
